Play these two videos simultaneously to get the full effect!
First start Skyscrapers, and turn the sound down. After a minute or so, start up the second video on Dharavi, Mumbai's largest slum and squatter settlement, and listen to its audio track. The jarring juxtaposition of these two videos captures beautifully our goals in this course to make visible, understand, and change the urbanization of inequality wrought by global neoliberalism on contemporary urban culture and social space.
